Tosin Morohunfola is an actor, writer, director and improviser. On television, he’s appeared on “Empire” (FOX), “Chicago Fire" (NBC), “APB” (FOX) and is a recurring doctor on “Chicago Med” (NBC). Other films include, "Dispatch", “Destination Planet Negro”, “If Night Comes” and his own original films “Endowed” and "On Sight". Tosin has a degree in Theatre Performance from the University of Kansas, 2010, and his most notable achievement there was founding the Multicultural Theatre Initiative, where he served as Artistic Director for two years, including producing 4 of his own original plays. Since graduating, his regional stage appearances include the Goodman, Northlight, New Victory (Off-Broadway), Court, Unicorn, Creede Repertory, Heart of America Shakespeare Festival and the Coterie, where he was Resident Artist for 2 years. In 2014, Tosin was honored with “Best Supporting Actor” from the Black Theatre Alliance for his role in "The Gospel of Lovingkindness" at Victory Gardens. And in 2015, he wrote and directed his own film, “On Sight” and began appearing on several network television shows.
