Yanelisa is a Venezuelan-born actress and singer-songwriter of Colombian descent, now based in the U.S. She first emerged on the entertainment scene in 2018 with her self-authored single “Distinto,” highlighted by Billboard as part of “Venezuela’s Summer Video Playlist: 10 Local Stars on the Rise”  .

She transitioned into acting with a lead role as Belen Martinez in the short Film Housegirl in 2020 then In 2021 she played Veronica in the Series Atlanta By Donald Glover streaming on Hulu, Yanelisa also made a memorable Guest Star appearance as Lucia Benitez on Law & Order: SVU. More recently, she joined NBC’s Found as Satcha Moncado.

Yanelisa brings a rare fusion of musical sensitivity and dramatic depth, committed to authentic storytelling rooted in her multicultural identity. In 2025 she wrote and starred the short film AKA Yankee continuing to demonstrate her commitment to evolving into serious screen presence.
