Connie was born and raised in Taiwan. She received her master’s degree in teaching English as a Second Language from Southern Illinois University. In 2021, Connie received her Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy from the University of Kansas. Connie has years of experience in training, curriculum design, professional development, and teaching. She speaks 3 languages including Chinese, English, and Spanish. Connie has been in acting class since summer 2022. She is a volunteer crisis counselor at 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.
Connie and her husband live in Lawrence, KS. They enjoy taking long walks after dinner together and trying out new restaurants. Connie loves plants and lavender lattes.
